As we walk the entire length of the City Walls (1.94 km/1.2 mi), we cover the following themes: the development of Dubrovnik’s complete defense system, its firepower, production of cannons, navy, diplomacy as a tool for war and peace, espionage, geopolitical position of Dubrovnik from the Middle Ages until the Modern Era as well as the structure of Dubrovnik’s society and political system. The entire tour takes place on the City Walls. Visit to the Maritime Museum is optional and museum ticket is not included in the price of the tour.
